Hizbollah vs. Israel: who is winning?
Facts: Currently: More than 180 civilians got killed in Lebanon, and about 3 Hizbollah members got killed. As for Israel, 12 civilians and 12 Israeli soldiers.
Infrastructure damage: Clearly, Israel is winning on that part. Israel has destroyed most of the critial parts of Lebanon, that is including the int’l airport, bridges, and even power supplies.
Idealogy, Israel has lost it’s chance of having peace with Lebanon and convincing Lebanese that Hizbollah is a bottlenick to their freedom.
Prior to the intensive Israeli’s attacks on Lebanon, there were lebanese who were convinced that Hizbollah needs to be disarmed and to be vanished more of. But with the recent Israeli’s attacks on Beirut and so on, the people of Lebanon are having their second doubts regarding that. Not to mention, today Lebanese national forces and political parties have declared that they will resist this aggression and stand by Hizbollah.
In case if you didnt know, in Lebanon Hizbollah is one on the phases of the RESISTANCE against Israeli occupation of Lebanese territory. With that said, I dont think the Israeli’s Propaganda “Showering Leaflets” is that close to be effective.
Anyway, with this happening, Hizbollah roots in Lebanon expanded and got stronger. I dont think they are going anywhere.
